In accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus the State Flag, the State Emblem and the State Anthem are symbols of sovereignty of the country.

The State Flag of the Republic of Belarus
The State Flag of the Republic of Belarus is a rectangular canvas. It is made up of two horizontal stripes: an upper red stripe that takes up two-thirds of the width, and a lower green stripe that takes up one-third of the width. Near the flagpole, there is a vertical red-on-white Belarusian national pattern, which is one-ninth of the flag's length.

The State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus is made up of a golden outline, lit by the golden rays of the sun rising over the globe. At the top of the emblem is a five-pointed red star. The emblem is encircled by a wreath of golden ears of wheat, intertwined with clover flowers on the right and flax flowers on the left. The wreath is embraced by a red-and-green ribbon with a golden inscription “Republic of Belarus” at the bottom.
The State Anthem of the Republic of Belarus
The music for the State Anthem of the Republic of Belarus was composed by Nestor Sokolovsky, and the lyrics were written by Mikhail Klimkovich and Vladimir Korizna. The anthem keeps the musical basis of the Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic anthem. The lyrics were chosen through a contest to reflect the Republic of Belarus as a sovereign, peace-loving country, stressing patriotism, diligence, and brotherly relations.

Государственный флаг Республики Беларусь представляет собой прямоугольное полотнище. Государственный герб Республики Беларусь состоит из золотого контура, освещенного золотыми лучами солнца, восходящего над земным шаром. В верхней части герба находится пятиконечная красная звезда. Герб обрамлен венком из золотых колосьев пшеницы, переплетенных справа цветками клевера, а слева — цветками льна. Венок обвит красно-зеленой лентой, на которой внизу сделана золотая надпись «Республика Беларусь».
Государственный гимн Республики Беларусь
Музыка Государственного гимна Республики Беларусь написана Нестором Соколовским, а слова — Михаилом Климковичем и Владимиром Коризной. Гимн сохраняет музыкальную основу гимна Белорусской Советской Социалистической Республики. Текст был выбран на конкурсе, чтобы отразить Республику Беларусь как суверенную, миролюбивую страну, подчеркнуть патриотизм, трудолюбие и братские отношения.
